Rushing – Mr. Theodis Rushing, age 84, passed away July 22, 2020. A native of Bushnell, FL, he attended the public schools of Bushnell and Clearwater, graduating from Clearwater Florida High School with a full college basketball scholarship, but instead he enlisted in the United States Air Force and received an Honorable Discharge. Mr. Rushing was an avid Truck Driver and was the owner of a White Freight Liner Truck. As an entrepreneur, he became an Independent Contractor. He was preceded in death by his parents; Christine Rushing; and Thomas Rushing. He leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved six children, Michael Walls, Deacon Glenda Molder (The late Kevin), Associate Pastor Connie Robinson (Daryl), Reverend Theodis Rushing, Jr (Terie), Deacon Kevin Rushing (Shanti), and Dean Christine Chester (Hugh). Mr. Rushing leaves dearly loved grandchildren, Nikiel Molder, Jasmin Molder, Nicole Robinson, Keren Robinson, Joshua Robinson (Cherie), Jamin Rushing, Kashla Rushing, Tirzah Rushing, Kevin Rushing Jr, Amanda Rushing, Patience Queen (Mark), and Malachi Chester; Beloved great grandchildren, Jada Robinson, Saraya Rushing, Brielle Queen, Jamin, Jr, Jaxyn, and Jaidyn Rushing; a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 15, 2020, 10AM., Faith In Action Christian Church, 228 South Main Street, Manville NJ 08835.
Memorial Service will stream on Zoom and Facebook live. The family will notify family and friends of instructions.
