Obituary

Yvette Andrews, a beloved mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and friend was born on July 14, 1956, in Jacksonville to Mrs. Patrick "Patsy" Calvin of Tallahassee and the late Jasper Calvin, Sr. of Jacksonville, FL.

Yvette was educated in the Duval County Public School system and was a 1974 graduate of Paxon High School. She was employed by the Florida Department of Health/Duval County Health Department as the Human Resources Manager. She dedicated more than 30 years to the
organization and retired in 2021.

Yvette accepted Jesus Christ as a young lady. Her unwavering faith in Jesus Christ was a source of strength and inspiration that guided her
life. She loved to sing, and she performed as part of the gospel group "The Chosen Few," and "The Faith Gospel Singers." She later recorded
her very own CD entitled "I Can't Hardly Wait" by Yvette Andrews and produced by Christ-Like Entertainment.

Yvette departed this life to be with the Lord Tuesday afternoon, May 16, 2023 in her home surrounded by her children. She is predeceased
by her father, Jasper Calvin, Sr. and brother, James "Ricky" Calvin. She leaves to cherish her memories: oldest son, Edward Charles Weston II(Charity), her daughter, Johneshia Whidby, and youngest son, Jason Whidby; her mother, Ms. Patrick Calvin; four brothers, Jasper Calvin Jr.
(Helen), Charles Calvin, Alvin Murdock Calvin (Susan), Ernest Calvin; sister, Mrs. Deloris Smith (Michael); four grandchildren, Dazirae
Simmons, Matthew Weston, Rosyln Weston, and Madison Woodley;two godchildren, Antwanette Banks and Xavier Flagg, and a host of
nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
